Mel Wild has been active in the debt education field since 1994 when he went to
work for debt-elimination pioneer, John Cummuta. John's educational programs
have been taught to over a million people around the world. His unique system
helps people eliminate every penny of their debt, including their mortgage, in
an average of less than seven years, all with their current income. Upon
accepting the position as Director of Education for Mr. Cummuta's company, Mel
was instrumental in developing the seminar leader training program for the
DF&PL seminar which was designed to teach these principles in a very practical
and straight-forward manner that can help anyone succeed. He also personally
trained seminar leaders around the country who have successfully taught the
DF&PL seminar at venues such as Ford Motor Company, educational
organizations like the Learning Annex, and most major church denominations in
America.
Also, in 1994, Mel was certified as a seminar leader by the American Seminar
Leader Association (ASLA) and was listed in their prestigious "Who's Who" list
of seminar leaders. Later, in 1998, he also contributed to the book, A Biblical
Perspective on Debt-Free & Prosperous Living written by John Cummuta.
In 2003, John Cummuta developed Transforming Debt Into Wealth (TDIW), as a new
way to learn his time-tested debt-elimination principles as a means to leverage
future wealth. At this time, Mel joined Tony Manganiello, President and CEO of
Debt-Free & Prosperous Living, Inc., as his Seminar Leader Administrator and
National Sales Director. He worked with John and Tony to develop a whole new
seminar and training program for TDIW seminar leaders and consultants. Since
then, Mel has developed programs and trained seminar leaders from the U.S.,
Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
Mel has often been heard saying, "Just knowing how to manage or even pay off
debt is not enough. That's why the most important thing we can do for people is
to help them change their thinking about their money and how they use credit.
That's true freedom!"
Mel is the husband to his wife, Maureen, and father to three adult sons,
Brandon, Andrew, and Jason. Besides his passion to help people break free from
the bondage of debt, he is also the Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church in
Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin! He feels that both his work as Seminar Leader
Administrator and Senior Pastor are integral parts of his calling to help
people live the life of freedom they were designed to live by God.
